DEFINITION OF SPIRITUAL GIFTS
An Evangelist is and does: Focus on the lost seeking to win as many as possible to Christ.
1. Seeks souls. The evangelist seeks to win the lost; they take the lead and are passionate about reaching the lost.
2. Seeks to train the Body to win souls, to help fulfill the great commission. The can share, preach and lead teams to win the lost.
B. Good use: Effective in winning the lost to Christ with the immediate goal of seeing those new converts baptized, disciple and
connected to the body of Christ
C. Flesh or misuse: Focusing on money for themselves, manipulating folks to make a decision so they can count them but they don't do the follow up or discipleship.
D. Demonic counterfeit: Individuals who recruit for new age or satanic purposes.
A Pastor is and does: Sheppard's the Local Church, caring for the people and seeking to lead them to deeper in Christ. The lead and oversee the Body of Christ in concert with other leaders like Deacons and Elders. The build and guard the flock of God.
A. Good use: Building, feeding and caring for a local church which in turn begins to do the works of Jesus and help fulfill the great commission. The body becomes a growing healthy fellowship.
B. Misuse/flesh us: Seeking to be number on and or first. Seeking to lord it over and or be served.
C. Counterfeit: A spiritual cult like leader who holds a cult group together. Cult charismatic leader.
A Teacher is and does: To teach to others the scriptures, they instruct others with the Word of God so that the believer can know and grow in Christ. They know and teach the Word of God.
A. Good use: revealing, teaching and unleashing the Word of God where others benefit and grow in the knowledge of God. Disciples begins using and doing the word.
B. Misuse/flesh: Misusing the Word and or incorrectly teaching. Opinions and person ideas taught over scripture. Teaching them to obey everything whatsoever Jesus taught-Matthew 28
C. Counterfeit: Those who teach the 'doctrine of demons' mentioned in 1Tim. 4
