BAIT AND SWITCH
Just be honest Mr. Mormon and tell us the truth.What do you really want?
I watched a commercial yesterday and it promoted a Bible, the stories of Daniel and other great leaders in biblical history. They tell you how important the Bible is and how it can speak to your life. Then they said you could have a free Bible just call in to the number on the screen, wow that's great. Again that's OK and that's their right. The problem is that they are clearly using the 'BAIT AND SWITCH' approach. They are going to send you a Bible and......... all the Mormon material along with the book of Mormon. What they really want is to get you to read the book of Mormon and to embrace the religion of Mormonism. Why don't they just tell you that?
If you want to embrace Mormonism that's your choice but you need to know that what they show you and tell you at first is not the same thing that they will move you to as soon as they can.
Years ago I spent about 4 hours in the Stow library with two Mormon missionaries. They showed me a film about the origins and development of Mormonism and their goal would have been to convert me to the Mormon religion. In this country that's their right, I have no problem with that. The problem is the bait and switch approach , the use of (bait) the Bible only to draw you in to switch you to the book of Mormon. What most people don't know are the real beliefs and doctrines of the Mormon 'Church'. Like the extra biblical revelation that their founder had that has become the foundation of their faith. In almost all sects and cults there is a preliminary use of the Bible as a bait and switch tool to draw you in only to switch you to their 'superior' extra biblical revelation.
You going to have to ask '' WHAT DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE''?! It is here that you will begin to see great and even vast differences between the Bible and what their new revelations teach.
Nationally known radio talk show host Glenn Beck has been talking about his Church and faith for some time now. Mitt Romney the presidential hopeful has also talked about his religion,
its value and the morals that he stands by. That's all well and good but they are both going to have a very hard time now because they have revealed that they are Mormons. Whats wrong with that you ask? Well simply Mormonism and Christianity are two separate and vastly different spiritual groups.
Mormonism does not believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, son of God,God in human flesh who died for us to give us new life. They don't believe that Jesus is to believed upon for salvation, they don't believe in being born again by the Spirit of God and have the gift of eternal life. The problem with Mormonism is that it tries to look like a traditional 'church' and look like its just like Christianity but it is cleary not. Mormonism denies the who, what and why of the Lord Jesus Christ.
They deny Jesus just like the early Gnostic's, the Way International, the Moonie (unification chruch) cults, the Masons and the current New age movements. They all speak of Jesus but they don't mean the REAL Jesus. They all have a new little pocket sized jesus who is a good ol spiritual being........but you don't come to know him, no you come to know the new revelations and embrace the teachings of the new founders. So if Glen Beck and Mitt Romney want to be Mormons that's their choice and they have a right to speak out................just be truthful about what you actually believe.
And please note, just as you have a right to believe and speak so do all americans. I invite you both to turn from the sect/cult of Mormonism and come to the Living Christ of scriptures.
Isaiah, Jeremiah, the rest of the prophets, the angels of God, the apostles and Christianity has proclaimed for two thousands of years that Jesus is God in human flesh who came to die for us on the cross. Jesus Christ came to be the Savior, that He alone gives eternal life, forgiveness of sin and the presence of the Holy Spirit right here and now.
If anyone wants to reduce the Real Christ of eternity and scriptures only to promote a new extra biblical revelation and a clearly 'different' stripped down jesus then read the warning that came 2000 years ago..................Galatians chapter one
6 '' I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! 9As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!''
When Mohammad, Joseph Smith. Sun Moon, Jim Jones, David Koresh, the old Gnostic's, New agers, Hindu Grus and many others had extra bibleical revelation and visitations from fallen angels they all have one thing in common.............they exchanged the Christ of Eternity, History and Scriptures for a ''different '' little reduced jesus. This is what the Holy Spirit warn us all about 2000 years ago. The Spirit of God (GOD) warn that this would be the goal of a special class of demonic spirits.
1 Timothy 4:1- ''The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. 3They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. 4For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
6If you point these things out to the brothers, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, brought up in the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed.''
Others have sent us there stripped down jesus with their new revelation, this only leads us to a face to face with those false prophets, apostles and teachers the Scriptures warned us about. Seducing spirits will always lead you away from a relationship with God and into the abyss of extra biblical revelation that denies and even attacks the Word of God.
God who sent Christ into the world sent Him to lead us back to Him.....a face to face with a personal relational God who wants us to know Him personally. The Spirit of God will only lead you to Him, to the unparalleled living Christ. The Gospel of John is the Spirit of God's revelation of Jesus.
The Bible and any real Christian will clearly proclaim that Jesus is the Savior of the world, that He truly is God in human flesh (Immanuel) see John's gospel chapter one. As a matter of fact you cannot be a real Christian without that testimony. (1 John ) God does not give us a bait and switch........He gives us the blood, the suffering and the Cross of the ONLY ONE HE sent.
God gives us a face to face visitation and a unveiled message that He loves all of us and wants all of us to come to Him.......... for a eternal personal relationship found only in the real Lord Jesus Christ. No bait......no switch!

This issue is who is the Lord Jesus Christ. Do you have a personal relationship with Him? Is Jesus who Isaiah said He is? what about the angels or Thomas who said ......my Lord and my God...........
